PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />ICE ARENA: <br />Complete Phase II of the project which calls for <br />installation of seating and heating on the east side of the <br /> <br />arena. <br /> <br />OLD CORE VILLAGE STREETS/SIDEWALKS: <br />Year two of a five year reconstruction plan of the old core <br />village streets and sidewalks. <br /> <br />PARK IMPROVEMENTS: <br />Acquisition of park land, trail land and improvement of <br />trails. <br /> <br />CITY MAINTENANCE: <br /> Overlay and seal coat City streets where necessary <br /> <br />PARK IMPROVEMENTS: <br />Smaller park projects throughout the City park system <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT: <br />Police Vehicles <br />Street/Park Truck <br /> <br />COST AND FINANCING <br /> <br />$260,000 - This project would be jointly financed by the <br />city and youth hockey. The city share, estimated at <br />50%, would come from the NSP/RDF contributions. <br /> <br />Total project is $800,000 plus...Phase II is $150,000 <br />with 50% to be financed by the city through its capital <br />projects and/or street reserves and 50% to be assessed <br />out to benefited property owners. <br /> <br />THESE PROJECTS WILL ONLY TAKE PLACE IF A <br />PUBIC REFERENDUM BOND IS APPROVED BY <br />THE VOTERS...$130,000 for park land, $80,000 for <br />trail land, and $90,000 for trail development. <br /> <br />$70,000 - General Fund Budget <br /> <br />$35,000 - City Park Dedication Fees <br /> <br />$230,000 - City General Fund Budget, equipment <br />certificates and equipment reserves. <br /> <br />Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Year - 2000 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
