• Proposed timeline <br />The RFP will be distributed to various consulting firms and published on the League of MN Cities <br />website. RFPs are due January 14t'' and will be reviewed by the subcommittee late January. Proposals will <br />be evaluated on the following: <br />• Goals, objectives and project tasks to demonstrate the responder's view of project and <br />exhibition of knowledge and expertise regarding community marketing and branding <br />• Outline of background and experience working with local government, businesses and <br />non-profits <br />• Demonstrated ability to create and analyze customer survey and marketing objectives <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />The EDA has budgeted $60,000 in the 2011 EDA budget for the marketing campaign. Staff research has <br />found that the average cost of a re-branding process to be approximately $25,000-$40,000 with roughly <br />$10,000+ in expenses to implement the plan, depending on the recommend action items.
