ORDINANCE 10 -22 CITY OF ELK RIVER AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER AMENDING SECTION 54 -31 OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO PARK CLOSING HOURS The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain. as follows: Section 1.That Section 54 -31 titled Closing Hours of Elk River City Code shall be amended to read as follows: Sec. 54 -31. Closing hours. (a) No person shall enter or remain upon the grounds of any public park within the city after 10:00 p.m. or before 6:00 a.m. Any person involved in a City sponsored/sanctioned pro - gram or activity may be allowed to enter or remain upon the,groumis of any public park within the city at any mime. i (b) Individuals shall be allowed to enter or remain upon the grounds of Hillside City Park and Woodland Trails Park within the City until 12:00 a.m. under the following circumstances: 1) A permit to enter or remain in these two parks is approved by the Recreation Manager or designee and the users intended purpose com- plies with all special use requirements. 2) All persons in the park after 10:00 p.m. must display their permit as required through the permitting process. Section 2. That this ordi- nance shall take effect upon publication as provided by law. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 1st day of November, 2010.
