ORDINANCE 10 -22 <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />AMENDING SECTION 54 -31 <br />OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES RELATING <br />TO PARK CLOSING HOURS <br />The City Council of the City <br />of Elk River does hereby ordain. <br />as follows: <br />Section 1.That Section 54 -31 <br />titled Closing Hours of Elk <br />River City Code shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 54 -31. Closing hours. <br />(a) No person shall enter or <br />remain upon the grounds of <br />any public park within the city <br />after 10:00 p.m. or before 6:00 <br />a.m. Any person involved in a <br />City sponsored/sanctioned pro - <br />gram or activity may be <br />allowed to enter or remain <br />upon the,groumis of any public <br />park within the city at any <br />mime. i <br />(b) Individuals shall be <br />allowed to enter or remain <br />upon the grounds of Hillside <br />City Park and Woodland Trails <br />Park within the City until <br />12:00 a.m. under the following <br />circumstances: <br />1) A permit to enter or <br />remain in these two parks is <br />approved by the Recreation <br />Manager or designee and the <br />users intended purpose com- <br />plies with all special use <br />requirements. <br />2) All persons in the park <br />after 10:00 p.m. must display <br />their permit as required <br />through the permitting process. <br />Section 2.
