VI. PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS Each of the proposed improvements is detailed as follows: A. Sanitary Sewer The proposed sanitary sewer improvements, as shown on Exhibit 2, consist of extending an 8-inch sanitary sewer to Grandview 2nd Addition, Outlots A and B of Country Crossing 3rd Addition, and Grandview Addition, Block 1. This proposed alignment will allow for future extensions of sanitary sewer links to Grandview Addition, Blocks 1 and 3, and a section of Palmers Addition. The proposed sanitary sewer will extend from the existing main at County Road No. 30 and Country Crossing 3rd Addition to Macon Street. The sanitary sewer will extend south to Riverview Drive and then east to the intersection of Joplin Street and Riverview Drive. Each existing and proposed lot will have a 4-inch sewer service constructed to the property line. In the future, gravity sewer extensions would extend west from the intersection of Macon Street and Riverview Drive to access the next four lots. Also, an extension south on Joplin Street to Riverview Drive and east to serve the first few lots in Palmers Addition. In future extensions, it is not feasible to serve the properties abutting 178th Avenue by gravity sanitary sewer. Therefore, a small lift station and associated forcemain would be constructed near the bottom of the hill on 178th Avenue. The effluent would be pumped to the manhole at the intersection of 178th Avenue and Riverview Drive, where the forcemain would enter the gravity system. B. Watermain The proposed water improvements, shown on Exhibit 3, consist of a 6-inch watermain starting at the west lot line of Lot 1 in Grandview 2nd Addition and County Road No. 30. The proposed 6-inch watermain will extend east to the intersection of Macon Street and County Road No. 30 then south on Macon Street to Riverview Drive and east to Joplin Street.
