Applications will be accepted <br />from singular SWCDs and from SWCD groups that have entered into a ,-..~ -f0 <br />joint powers agreement or memorandum of agreement. The deadline for 5~/~,'~k~.,0 <br />submitting applications is May 1, 1997. To apply for FY 98 State Cost ~r <br />Share Special Project grants, complete the enclosed FY 98 State Cost Sha~ <br />Special Project Application. For this grant, $500,000 total is available. <br />No portion of this grant may be used for technical/administrative costs. <br /> <br />Your project must also be'reviewed by your Board Conservationist before it <br />is submitted, so be sure to give them plenty of advance notice. <br /> <br />Applications will be scored by the BWSR Grants Team according to the <br />State Cost Share Special Project Application Evaluation form enclosed. By <br />the scoring on this tbrm you will note that the BWSR is promoting Special <br />Projects that are innovative or benefit the public. The BWSR will be <br />requested to approve successful applications for funding on June 25, 1997. <br />Grant Agreements will be sent in July. <br /> <br />if you are submitting multiple applications, please prioritize them on the <br />applications. Applications must be received by your Board <br />Conservationists. Do' not send them to the Central Office.
