With the adoption of the vision and goals, staff will begin to formulate action steps to achieve the <br />goals. In addition, commissions and boards are encouraged to consider actions they can take to <br />further the goals. Those should be conveyed through the appointed Council liaison and staff <br />representative. Decisions and actions of the elected officials, boards and commissions, and staff <br />should be consistent with the goals. For instance, future budgets will be developed to align with the <br />goals and to provide staff the resources needed to implement actions to attain the goals. <br />Finally, in the near future we will review the steps we have taken thus far to ensure that progress has <br />been made to implement actions to achieve the goals.
