The undersigned DO NOT want the Jackson Square Parking Lot in historic downtown Elk River to be developed as proposed by <br />MetroPlains. The Development, as it is currently proposed, would rid Elk River of its historical town square, including its Flag Pole, <br />Historic Gazebo and numerous large Coniferous Trees. <br /> <br />As many towns in Minnesota are striving to develop a centralized "town square" (i.e. Maple Grove, Wayzata and Excelsior), the <br />Proposed Development would cause Elk River to lose its Town Square, an attribute that is so highly coveted by many other <br />communities. <br /> <br />_Signature Printed Name <br /> <br />Phone Number <br /> <br />Date <br /> <br /> <br />
