Municipal Finance Workshops for Elected Officials Friday, March 21, LMC Building, St. Paul or Friday, April 18, St. Cloud Civic Center Elected officials are called upon to make a variety of decisions relat- ed to city finances. This half-day workshop will provide an overview of what's involved and focus on several key areas of fiscal responsi- bility: what fiscal policies should be in place, how to spot fiscal warn- ing signs, what should be considered in financing decisions as well as various financing methods, types of debt and bond financing process.
