THESE PROGRAMS ARE <br />FOR YOU.. <br /> <br />WHO SHOULD ATTEND? <br />Members of planning commissions, boards of adjust- <br />ment/appeals and governing bodies in Minnesota <br />cities, counties and toWnships. Also valuable for mem- <br /> :rs of other advisory commissions, housing and <br />. ~development authorities, staff (especially those with- <br />out degrees in planning), real estate professionals, <br />and others working in areas related to specialized <br />workshop topics. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE AT THESE WORKSHOPS PROVIDES <br />ADDITIONAL BENEFITS FOR CITY ELECTED <br />OFFICIALS! - <br />If you are enrolled in the League of Minnesota Cities <br />Leadership Institute for Elected Officials (or want to <br />be!), these courses count towards the 40 credits <br />required for Certification. Each Land Use Planning <br />Workshop is worth 7 credits. The Certification <br />Program was inaugurated in January, 1996. <br />Application forms are available by calling Cathy <br />Dovidio at the League offices at (612) 281-1250. Call <br />Sharon Klumpp at (612) 281-1203 with questions <br />about the Leadership Institute program, <br /> <br />REAL ESTATE CREDITS <br /> <br />Participants of "Annual Planning Institutes" and <br />"Beyond the Basics" can earn Continuing Real Estate <br />Education credits. <br /> <br />REGISTRATION/CANCELLATION <br /> <br />Register at least 7 days prior to the workshop date <br />using the forms in this brochure. (Space is limited.) <br />Fill out one form for each workshop; duplicate forms if <br />needed. You will not receive confirmation of your regis- <br />tration, but we will notify you if the session you <br />requested is full. Fees will be refunded less a $15 <br />service fee if the registration is cancelled 3 work- <br />lng days before the program. Substitutions for regis- <br />tered participants may be made at any time. Should <br />inclement weather (or other circumstances beyond Our <br />control) necessitate program cancellation or postpone- <br />ment, registrants will be notified via announcements on <br />WCCO radio and other local radio stations. <br /> <br />FEES <br />Registration fees for all workshops include a meal, <br />refreshment breaks and handout materials.
