Elk Terrace Manufactured Home Court Residents <br /> <br /> Elk River, Minnesota 55330 <br /> <br />Dear Earl and Lorraine Hohlen: <br /> <br />In meeting as a group on December 9th. 199(;, the residents of Elk Terrace Manufactured <br />Home Court have agreed upon a request for adequate compensation for relocation duc to <br />park closure. Each tenant will submit their requested total figure individually to you. If <br />there are.situations where the tenant feels they deserve compensation other that thc below <br />guidelines, this will also be submitted and handled on a case by case basis. We have <br />~$elected a contact person for discussion of this plan as a whole, or you can contact <br />individual tenants with further questions and answers. The contact person is Shaun Siebci] <br />located at 1;38 Baldwin Avenue, phone (612)241-9040. We are asking for a commitment or <br />denial to the following plans in writing by 01/19/97. The following pages include signatures <br />of tenants agreeing to these guidelines. <br /> <br /> For tenants wishing to relocate their manufactured home to another park this is as follows. <br /> <br /> * Reasonable cost of relocating the manufactured home and personal property to another <br /> manufactured home park within a 25 mile radius of Elk Terrace. Reasonable relocation <br /> costs shall include. <br /> (A) The actual expenses incurred in moving the displaced resident's <br /> manufactured home, including dissembling, moving, and <br /> reassembling any attached appurtenances (porches, decks, <br /> skirting, awnings,) and utility "hook up" charges. <br /> (B) The cost of insurance for the replacement value of the property being moved. <br /> (C) The cost of repairs or modifications that are required in order to <br /> move the manufactured home. <br /> (D) If a tenant wishes to move their manufactured home outside the 25 <br /> mile radius, they should receive average moving costs of the above listed. <br /> (D) In addition, $900 moving expenses for personal property. <br /> <br />If tenants are unable to move their manufactured home due to age, availability, or <br />suitability of lots in other parks in the 25 mile radius, our requested compensation is as <br />follows. <br /> <br />Receiving Appraised Value of the manufactured home and all appurtenances with <br />option to hold title or relinquish to land owners. In addition, $900 moving expenses for <br />personal property. <br /> <br /> <br />
