Miller, Executive Director ~~-- ~ <br />1997 NLC Congressional City Conference <br /> <br />Registration and Conference Program <br /> <br />Enclosed is the program brochure and registration form for the 1997 NLC Congressional City <br />Conference, to be held in Washington, D.C. March 8-11. The League of Minnesota Cities <br />encourages city officials to attend and take part in developing an action plan to gain support for <br />critical budget and policy issues facing cities during the 105th Congress. On Tuesday, March 11, <br />the League will coordinate meetings on Capitol Hill for city officials with members of the <br />Minnesota Congressional Delegation. At those meetings, Minnesota city officials will present <br />our priorities for federal legislation to our Congressional delegation. If at all possible, please <br />delay your return until Wednesday, March 12 so you can participate in these Congressional <br />meetings. <br /> <br />The deadline for advance registration is Wednesday, February 7, 1997. After that date, on- <br />site registration will be necessary.
