In lieu of no fire department access to the north, south, and west sides of the building <br />the fire department will be requiring the following: <br /> <br />1. The exterior walls need to be 1-hour rated. <br />2. The roof and the walls on the e:dsdng loading dock must be removed and remain <br /> open. <br />3. The loading dock must be extended to the southwest end of the building. <br />4. A 1-hour fire barrier wall will be required to compartmendze a minimum of 30% of <br /> the 5-1 portion of the building. <br /> <br /> The following building code issues will also be required: 1. Three-hour fire barrier walls will be required between the different occupancy's. <br /> 2. Proper e,,ddng will be required from each occupancy. <br /> 3. Other items such as plumbing, mechanical, gas, etc. will need co be addressed. <br /> <br />fall are on the east side of this building maintaining at least 20 clear feet~ <br /> of <br /> these <br /> items <br /> based <br />{ of fire lane access.
