Despite conuentionalit&l, she <br />graduated from medical school with the <br />highest honors, receiving a medical degree at <br />age :?4. Montessori went to work in the <br />University of Rome's psychiatric clinic with <br />the "ineducable." Later she was appointed as <br />the Government Inspector of Schools.
