5.2. Shelvine & Chairs out of 2010 Budget <br />The shelving budget is $600 and actual is $725. Mick is going to ask "The Friends <br />of the Library" to make up the difference & help pay for the chairs in the <br />Children's Cave. <br />5.3. Microfilm Reader Printer <br />The bulb will be replaced first if the printer still is not working then they will use <br />the $500 approved by the board at the June Meeting for further repairs. <br />5.4. GRRL Restructure <br />Branch assistants in Elk River were cut by 17%. The Elk River Branch Manager <br />position was cut from 40 to 36.5 hours. There will possibly be an increase in <br />Aides. They are waiting for the Union Contract to be negotiated. <br />6. New Business <br />6.1. Book Donation <br />Jayne Dietz presented the Elk River Library a copy of the book <br />"Culturally Speaking" written by her friend Mary Coons. <br />6.2. Remote book drop <br />Mike Hangaard relayed comments from residents who would like to see <br />a remote book drop at Lyon's Park or the old Library building. <br />Adjournment <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m. Next meeting will be <br />held on August 24, 2010. <br />JAYNE DIETZ MOVED TO ADJOURN THE JULY 27, 2010 LIBRARY BOARD <br />MEETING.
