As you can see, the real numbers that ~ was using do not <br />reflect all of the riders and adjustments that are passed on to the customers <br />from Xcel and Connexus. After including all the costs that would apply to ~ <br />~ electric usage, Elk River Municipal Utilities is very competitive. I've <br />mailed a hard copy to,~. Rates that <br />the <br />utilities charges for electricity are far more than conexus and excel <br />energy and many other power company thru out the state. maybe its <br />time to <br />do something about it. I'm sure the city council has influence on what <br />goes on over there. Maybe sell the utility, it would be in the best <br />interest of all the customers or bring the rates in line with other <br />utilities. <br />why should we pay 0.1139 per kwh when most are at 0.711. Those are <br />real <br />numbers that make the difference between living in this city or not <br />for. <br />alot of people. thank you for your time <br />
