Attached is an article from the Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative Pine to Prairie News
addressing costs has a quote from Great River Energy President and CEO David Saggau stating
that GRE's rates will continue increase. For the most part, this would be common sense. But by
discussing bad new often enough, customers can become desensitize and complacent. Continued
focus and pressure on controlling costs can help ERMU remain competitive and provide safe
reliable services at competitive prices. However, this is not enough. Pressure on our wholesale
power supplier to control costs and pressure on our legislators to not unfairly burden public
power customers is also important.
