ORDINANCE 10- <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />AMENDING SECTION 30-876 OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING <br />TO SIGNAGE IN THE COMMERCIAL RESERVE TRANSITION AREA <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: <br />Section 1. That Section 30-876 titled CRT Commercial Reserve Transitional district of <br />Elk River City Code shall be amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 30-876. CRT commercial reserve transition district. <br />a) Temporary signs as permitted in section 30-851 et seq. <br />b) Permanent signs. <br />1) One freestanding sign, not to exceed 150 square feet with a maximum height of 30 feet. <br />2) Three wall signs, not to exceed 300 square feet per occupanry. <br />c) Event sponsor signs a sign subordinate to a principal use intended for the display of <br />information for onsite patrons, shall be allowed if they meet the following criteria: <br />1) An approved Interim Use Permit has been obtained for the property <br />2) A sign elan shall be approved by City staff <br />3) Property shall be larger than 20 acres <br />4) No more than 50 signs <br />5) Not to exceed 32 square feet <br />6) Must be one sided only <br />7) Shall be setback 10 feet from property line <br />8) Shall be setback 25 feet from right-of-wavs <br />9) Shall face awa~from right-of--wavs <br />10) Shall not exceed 6 feet in height <br />11) Shall not be illuminated <br />Section 2.
