Enforcement. Enforcement of the Building Code shall <br />be as established by the Uniform Building Code, 1994 Edition. The <br />Building Code shall be enforced within the incorporated limits of <br />the city. The City Council shall designate the Building Official <br />for the City of Elk River. <br />3. Permits, Inspections, Fees and Surcharge <br />A. Permits, Inspections and Fees. Permits, inspections, <br />and collection of fees shall be as provided by the Uniform <br />Building Code, 1994 Edition. The Council shall establish <br />the fees and charges from time to time by resolution. <br />B. Surcharge. In addition to the required permit fee, the <br />applicant shall pay a surcharge to be remitted to the <br />Minnesota Department of Administration as prescribed by <br />Minnesota Statutes 1984, Section 16B.70. <br />4. Violations and Penalties. The violations of this section <br />shall be a misdemeanor. Each day that a condition in violation <br />of this section shall continue shall constitute a separate <br />offense. <br />• <br />
