Recommendation <br />Staff is recommending approval of the conditional use permit request to <br />operate a printing business out of Mr. Books existing home with the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Hours of operation be as per city code. <br />2. The applicant maintain enough room in the driveway for two customer <br />vehicles at all times during operating hours. <br />3. That a four foot by four foot freestanding sign be allowed at the end of <br />the driveway near Elk Lake Road. The sign must be located outside of <br />the road right -of -way and be under five feet in height. A sign permit <br />must be obtained before the sign is erected. <br />4. More information be provided concerning the printing solutions used <br />in the printing process of the business to determine that an <br />environmental hazard does not exist with the operation of this <br />business. This information must be obtained prior to the meeting with <br />the City Council. <br />5. A maximum of one full time employee or equivalent other than those <br />persons who customarily reside on the premise shall be employed. <br />6. No exterior storage related to this business shall be allowed. <br />7. If valid complaints are received, this item will be brought back before <br />the Planning Commission and City Council for review. <br />pc:cup95 -20 <br />
