Present Were: George Zabee President James Tralle Vice Chairman John Dietz Trustee Others Present: Bill Birrenkott, General Manager; Bob McCartney, Water Superintendent; Mike Hanlon, Athletic Director; Pat Klaers, City Administrator, Sandy Thackery, City Clerk 1) The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. by President Zabee. 2) Motion by Mr. Dietz, seconded by Mr. Tralle to approve the agenda as amended. The Motion carried. controls at the Gary Street water tower. The motion carried. 7) . 3) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to approve the of the 1996 operating budget. Action will be taken at a future minutes of the previous meeting. The motion carried. 4) Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to donate the electricity to run two pitching machines to the school district. The motion carried. 5) It was decided to defer the decision on a substance abuse policy to a future meeting. 6) The Water Superintendent reported on the status of various water department projects. Motion by Mr. Tralle, seconded by Mr. Dietz to authorize the expenditure of $4,500 for additional controls at the Gary Street water tower. The motion carried. 7) The General Manager reviewed the status of construction projects and other operating conditions. 8) The General Manager presented the Commissioners with a draft of the 1996 operating budget. Action will be taken at a future meeting. 9) The General Manager reviewed the October financial statements with the Commissioners. Motion by Mr. Dietz, seconded by Mr. iThe Zabee to receive and file the October financial statements. motion carried.
