Plat Approval .(Elk River Crossing 3~d <br /> Addition), Public Hearing- Case No. P 01-15 <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Staff report submitted by Senior Planner Scott Harlicker. Mr. Harlicket stated that the <br />applicant is requesting preliminary plat approval of Elk River Crossing 3~d Addition located <br />on the east side of Highway 169 and south of Main Street. He stated that the applicant is <br />requesting to replat Lots 3-5, Block 1, Elk River Crossing and Lot 2, Block 1, Elk River <br />Crossing 2nd Addition into six lots ranging from .74 acres to 1.45 acres. He stated that lot 2 <br />would need to have a shared driveway access. <br /> <br />Mayor I~dinzing opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, Mayor <br />Kdinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kuester questioned if internal parking would flow between each of these <br />lots. <br /> <br />Russ McGinty, speaking on behalf of S&T development - Stated that most likely there <br />would be internal flow between the parking lots but he couldn't state that this would happen <br />between all of the lots. <br /> <br />Councilmember Mot. in questioned the type of businesses that would be allowed on these <br />lots. Mr. McGinty stated that the businesses would be service-oriented, such as banks or <br />restaurants. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE PRELIMINARY <br />PLAT FOR ELK RIVER CROSSING THIRD ADDITION WITH THE <br />FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. ALL COMMENTS OF THE CITY ENGINEER SHALL BE <br /> ADDRESSED. <br /> <br />2. ACCESS TO LOT 2 SHALL BE RESTRICTED TO THE EXISTING <br /> SHARED DRIVEWAY. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />THE EXISTING EASEMENTS ON THE CURRENT PROPERTY LINE <br />SHALL BE VACATED, EXCEPT FOR THE 40-FOOT WIDE <br />EASEMENT THAT EXTENDS FROM THE LIFT STATION TO ZANE <br />STREET, AND NEW EASEMENTS SHALL BE DEDICATED ALONG <br />THE PROPOSED PROPERTY LINES. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER TVEITE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED $-0. <br /> <br />6.6. <br /> <br />Request by Hoyt Partners for Preliminary and Final Plat Approval .(Elk Path Business <br />Center 2nd Addition), Public Hearing - Case No. P 01-17 <br /> <br />Staff report submitted by Director of Planning Michele McPherson. Ms. McPherson stated <br />that the applicant is to create a 2.24-acre lot to construct a 42,000 square foot office <br />building. She stated that cash would be accepted for park dedication fees. <br /> <br />Mayor F'dinzing opened the public hearing for the preliminary and final plat. There being no <br />one to speak to this issue, Mayor Irdinzing closed the public hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
